We celebrate the artistic community in the Greater Sandpoint

Area by connecting the public to “art in the making”

Annually the Artist’s Studio Tour of North Idaho opens to the public private home studios to observe “art in the making”.

 Using the brochure with its maps, or visiting the website, the visitors plan their individual driving tour which takes place the last two weekends in July.  All artists will be demonstrating their talents during that time.

The Studios are open by appointment from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

 Past participants have included painting, pottery, a variety of glass art, jewelry, wood-working, stone work, etc.

Membership drive for the annual tour, which includes artists, sponsors and advertising, is in progress from January through April, however sponsorships are gratuitously accepted throughout the year.  In May the advertising and promotion rollout begins. This includes distribution of brochures, posters and various media, such as magazines, radio, and publications in areas that draw tourists to the Greater Sandpoint Area.

We are happy to accept sponsorships in any amount. Sponsorships are welcome any time of year but must be received by April 20, 2007 to be included on the 2007 Tourist Map. Any one wishing to become a sponsor should read the sponsor letter and fill out the Sponsor Agreement then send it with payment to;
