Barbara Janusz is convinced there is an artist in every one of us. Her enthusiasm and inspirational teaching guides the student to learn and improve their painting abilities. Barbara has exhibited with the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition in Colorado and won the Gold Medallion award, Best of Show Westwood Center for the Arts, Women's Painters of the West the Ruth Elliot Award, to name a few. She's exhibited in many Art Museums, a signature member of Watercolor West, associate member of Montana, Idaho, San Diego, NWWS, and Springfield IL Watercolor Societies. She's been in many publications, and feels very privileged to have studied with numerous Master Painters. Collectors of her work can be found throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. She has taught at the college level and lectured and demonstrated for Watercolor Societies, National Park Systems, and Art Associations. She brings this experience to share with students at her Home/ Studio in Hope Idaho.

This Workshop will be held at Studio By The Lake in Hope Idaho, with exquisite views of Lake Pend Oreille. Barbara will challenge students of all levels with creative adventures introducing innovative color themes with and emphasis on value relationships, composition, and design. By the end of the week, a new and inspired world of seeing will be open to you. The principles of shade and shadows will introduce new ways to design paintings. This class will open your imagination and will make a dramatic difference in the manner in which you conceptualize your paintings.
