Mary Gayle has been designing jewelry for 25 years. Recently reloated from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to the visually rich environment of Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Oreille has inspired and allowed her the luxury to create wearable art in her home studio.
At an early age she began creating things with her hands: baskets, candles, loom weavings and batiks. She then discovered the magic in beads and gemstones which continue to give her a ceaseless flow of creative energy. Agates, jaspers, quartz, pearls and turquoise are just a few of the colorful array of gems she uses in her jewelry. Occasionally antlers and porcupine quills will also accent her pieces.
Mary Gayle’s work is currently at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture Gift Shop in Spokane, WA. Additionally it has been displayed at Museum of Wildlife Art, Jackson, Wyo., and facilities in 3 of our National Parks. Come by car or boat! Always welcome by appointment after Tour.
